What is Café de Olla?

Café de Olla is a traditional Mexican spiced coffee brewed in a clay pot (called an "olla"). It’s made with cinnamon, piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar), and sometimes cloves or orange peel, giving it a rich, aromatic, and slightly sweet flavor that’s deeply comforting. Served warm in a traditional mug, it’s more than coffee—it’s a cozy hug in a cup.
